NEWS: Connie contributed vocals to a half-dozen tracks on Slow to Take a Hint — the new album by Vernam Cipher — that’s now streaming on all major services and available for download on Bandcamp. (Read more in the EPK.)

Here’s a very old tune, “Down in the Willow Garden,” that she learned from the Everly Brothers’ version. She recorded it in one take (plus background vocal) on her amazing little Spire studio-to-go.

And this is a beauty off John Prine’s “Tree of Forgiveness” album.
